The Beginning
D3 Ventures, LLC was founded in 2011 by a 26 year old, Dan Grifford III.
At the time, Dan had a vision of owning multiple companies, but wasn't sure how he could do that and how he would make the business structure work. Being the son of a roofer, he wasn't really brought up discussing business opportunities and investments.
In other words, Dan had a vision, but lacked the experience and knowledge to achieve it.
While working at the family roofing company, Dan graduated Arizona State University and obtained his Arizona real estate license. Being born and raised in Arizona and playing sports his whole life, Dan created a massive network.
His goal was to take his business acumen, construction background and love for real estate and create a group of businesses that complemented each other. Then, as he became more successful, he would invest that money into various investments and real estate holdings.

About Dan
Dan Grifford III, aka “Dan the Roofing Man” is the host of “The Creative Contractor Show”. Dan is an American entrepreneur born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He is the single member of D3 Ventures, LLC, a company whose holdings include various construction companies and real estate holdings. Dan married his high school sweetheart Viorica (“LaLa”) and they have been together for over twenty years. They have been blessed with three amazing children, Daniel IV, Maximus and Oliva.
Most recently, Dan has launched his podcast “The Creative Contractor Show”. The entrepreneurial podcast is about a second generation contractor that had early success but more importantly, early failure. It speaks to the listener about why entrepreneurs do what they do, what they should do when they start making money, how to protect what they’ve built and how to give back while they’re doing it. It gives contractors and entrepreneurs a real view on what it’s like to invest in themselves with education, trade certifications, professional coaching, personal development, masterminds and MUCH more.
The show is raw and real and talks about the good, bad, fun and ugly of owning a business and investing for the future.
